- Manchester Museum, UK
BackgroundAs one of a select number of hosts for 'Warriors of the Plains' - an established British Museum touring exhibition - the receiving curator explained they were keen to capture and translate the spirit of the exhibition within their own space. It was also imperative that in doing so, the existing exhibition identity, devised by the British Museum, was complemented by any additional graphic interpretation.
SolutionInspired by the historical patterns, beadwork and textiles of Native American culture, a distinctive interior colour palette and series of supersize graphics were devised to complement the existing identity, while injecting a fresh visual perspective. Alongside, intriguing and thought-provoking quotes were selected from the narrative and positioned throughout 'Warriors of the Plains', creating a series of voices and engaging the visitor in a new & multi-dimensional way.
